Donna Joyner-Rodgers, EA
Donna became an Enrolled Agent in 1986. Upon becoming an Enrolled Agent, she promptly joined the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) and Nevada Society of Enrolled Agents (NvSEA). She has been preparing tax returns since 1980. In 1988 Donna graduated from the National Tax Pratice Institute (NTPI) and became a Graduate Fellow. This premier educational program covers in depth advanced tax payer representation before the Internal Revenue Service. It is attended by Attorneys, Certified Public Accountants and Enrolled Agents. She is a board member of the Best in the West Education Foundation and a member of the National Counsel for Taxpayer Advocacy.
April 13, 1999, Donna testified before Congress as a representative of NAEA on electronic filing. The members of the Subcommittee were interested in the testimony she gave and asked numerous questions.
Since the death of her husband and founder of Rainbow Tax Service, Steve Rodgers in 2002, Donna has faced many challenges. With the help of other family members and loyal staff, she has kept the family business going and prospering.
